The Hartford Old Engine and Tractor show began in 1997.  The show from its beginning has been very family oriented which comes with a more relaxed and slower pace. The idea was to have antique tractor and engine collectors gather and show how agriculture has developed  over the years. Some of shows attractions include but are not limited to; demonstrations of threshing of wheat grown at the grounds, sawing logs provided by the members, planing the lumber and a shingle mill. Homemade ice cream and kettle corn  are made daily at the show too.

This show started out as a Tractor Pull on Labor day and grew into four day Labor Day weekend event. Some of the highlights of the growth since we started consists of hosting the State IH show in 2005. We also added a farm stock and antique tractor pull.  In more recent times our show opens with a tractor parade through Hartford to the fairgrounds and ending the weekend with tractors participating in the Annual Lawrence Ox Roast  Labor Day Parade.

Our club tries to participate in local festivals and parades.
